is this game going to be a full scale representation of the universe? (not like no mans sky)
No, it isa full scale representation of the universe.

SpaceEngine reached that goal several years ago. It has a similar number of Galaxies of that of the real universe. Each with a realistic number of stars and planets. Everything scaled and located realistically. No Mans Sky made the universe much smaller and proportions comical just to avoid boring their users with the mind-bending real scale of things in nature. SpaceEngine is a scintifically accurate planetarium not just a fantasy game.

Real scale or not, not a lot would change - the biggest difference between NMS planets is the skin and roughness of the terrain. Outer Wilds taught us that procedural generation has been a bust by creating a mini (50km) hand-crafted solar system jam packed with things to explore, where the planets are actually unique, ranging from 'hollow and collapsing' to 'a literal hourglass'. Just making things real-scale only makes things even more boring.

Add stuff like tides in bodies of water that could be affected by gravity of moons, or if on a moon, by the gravity of other moons and the planet, also add dust storms, tornadoes, rain, lightning, 3D clouds, polar ice caps melting during different seasons, I've also been frustrated how on planets tilted on their side like uranus where the pole is facing to the sun the planets still have ice caps even tho that couldnt happen make it so that the ice caps always stay on top.

I've been looking at estimates of the size of the observable universe and some of the estimates I read point to a universe with a radius of up to 92 billion light years? That's quite a bit larger than the 28-30 billion light year radius of SE that I've read about.

Outer Wilds? Never heard of it, is that on Steam also?
Do any of these have something where you could go scuba diving underwater and explore caves, caverns and tunnels, things like that?

Yeah, I know this because I have the ability to use Google and check Steam.
As you can see, these dynamic environments are far more exciting and replayable than the tripe that Sean Murray has been polishing for the past half decade.
Do any of these have something where you could go scuba diving underwater and explore caves, caverns and tunnels, things like that?
Yes, and unlike NMS, the environments are constantly changing, and there's stuff to do in caves other than scoop up resources so you can travel around the same 5 reskinned planets spread over 500000000 light years.

RS code is not referring to any existing catalog, it's a random star procedurally generated by SpaceEngine.
RS is in fact Random Star
RG Random Galaxy
RSC Random Star in a Cluster
RN Random nebula

Hello,
Ok, it's misleading when you do research, so I guess the planets around RS stars are false. thank you for the answer

You can disable procedural objects from the settings window, so they are no more visible. They will be still there when searching, though.
By using the Star Browser filters you can specify if you want only catalog objects.

Hello,
I'm just comparing it to software like Stellarium. That's what SE lacks, comparable functionality, for example observing from a point on earth, pointing at a star or an object without zooming in. I'm not a developer, but maybe it's possible to make a script. Just a few more features, and SE would be superior to Stellarium for searching
